Project objective: Creation of modern air traffic control centers that ensurea high level of safety, efficiency and continuity of air traffic Ukraine, in accordance with international ICAO standards and the requirements of the unified air traffic control system "Ukraerorukh". Description: State Enterprise "Central Design Institute" participated in the development of architectural designsof air traffic control centers (ATCs), which perform the functions ofregional nodes of the airspace management system of Ukraine. During the design special attention was paid to:

• the introduction of an automated air traffic control system (ATSC), which meets the latest achievements of world science and technology;
• ensuringfull compatibility with similar systems in Western European countries;
• high level of reliability, redundancy and continuity of communication and power supply;
• creatingan ergonomic working environment for dispatching personnel.

The centers perform the role of district centers of the Ukraerorukh system, which allows, based on modern information technologies:

• implement new methods of air traffic monitoring and management;
• optimizeinformation processing and transmission at all levels of management;
• providebackup air and ground telecommunications to maintain continuous system operation under all conditions.
