The customer set the task of equipping a military camp on Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea using non-traditional energy sources – wind-diesel units. The project for the equipment and engineering support of the military camp provides for the following:

• construction of a complex of wind-diesel energy system facilities;
• construction of a complex of systems: heat supply; water supply and drainage;
• construction of a helipad for “MI-8”;
• construction of a pier;
• construction of highways and access roads.

For the first time in the CIS countries, the idea of ​​autonomous operation of high-power wind turbines and their parallel operation with diesel generators using the control system of the SMA company (Germany) was implemented.
