On 24-25 January 2019, at the initiative of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Peru, Igor Yuriyovych Tumasov, and at the invitation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Peru, the Director of the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine ‘Central Design Institute’, Oleg Mikhailovich Pryimachuk, paid a business visit to the Republic of Peru.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss possible cooperation on the design and construction of a training centre for the Peruvian Army.
The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Peru, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Peru I. Tumasov, Director of the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine ‘Central Design Institute’ O. Pryimachuk.
Following the visit, a decision was made on further cooperation between the parties.
