Round table meeting on the topic: ‘Fortifications: current state, improvement tasks and ways to solve them’

19 February 2019. On the initiative of the Presidium of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine, the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine ‘Central Design Institute’, and the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use, a round table meeting was held at the premises of the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine ‘Central Design Institute’ on the topic: ‘Fortifications: current state, improvement tasks and ways to solve them.’

The purpose of the round table is to analyse the condition, architectural and structural solutions, design and construction of fortifications, identify tasks for improvement and ways to solve them based on the consolidation of the country's scientific, technical, military, engineering and manufacturing potential.

The round table was attended by managers and specialists from the Ukrainian Academy of Construction, relevant structural units of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, design and research institutes, higher education institutions, and the construction industry of Ukraine.

Based on the results of the Round Table, a decision was adopted.
