ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION ON ‘ENSURING THE LATEST APPROACHES TO CONSTRUCTION IN THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE OF UKRAINE’

On 3 March 2020, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine held a round table discussion on the topic of ‘Ensuring the latest approaches to construction in the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine’.
The main purpose of the event was to discuss ways to introduce innovative technologies into military construction that combine reliability and speed of construction, energy conservation (including thermal insulation of buildings and structures), fire protection, and environmental safety.
During the round table discussion, information was provided on upcoming construction projects and plans for the construction of military complexes.
Representatives of state authorities, construction associations and the construction industry were invited to participate in the meeting.
The Central Design Institute, a state-owned enterprise of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, also took part in the event. The institute's director, Oleg Pryimachuk, familiarised those present with the latest design proposals for the construction of several military complexes and provided information on ways to implement advanced construction technologies in military construction projects.
